Ian has been successfully racing Caterham’s since 2009. Initially buying an old Roadsport A race car for £7000 he recently sold his 4th car after finishing third in the 2012 R300 championship. Ian has had countless wins in all series and finished on the podium in 10 out of 12 races last year. Ian has 12 years experience working in marketing for a financial services company. Ian lives in Berkshire, holds an International C race licence and is an ARDS approved race instructor. Ben bought his first Caterham in 2000 - a 235hp Vauxhall-engined HPC which he dry-sumped, put slicks on and took around Spa and the Nordschleife. Ben started racing Caterhams in 2007 after signing up for the Academy in its last year with the K-series engine. Progressing through the ranks to the R300 championship, Ben has regular top ten finishes and achieved his first podiums in the PT Sports Cars shared Ginetta G50 in GT Cup in 2013 where he came 2nd in his class 3rd in the overall championship. Ben has a successful career in investment banking behind him and is now a technology investor. Chris has been involved with Caterhams since 2001 when he bought his 1.8 litre Crossflow-engined car. Chris’s car is a bit like ‘Trigger’s broom’ - not much of the original car has been retained due to upgrade-itis. He regularly joins other Caterham owners for blats around the country and trackdays. Chris is also a keen motorsport photographer and is often to be found at Silverstone and Donington where he has full media-accreditation. Last year, he attended 15 meetings including the British GP, Silverstone Classic, Donington Historic Festival, F4/GT Cup rounds and the Caterham Motorsport Finale at Silverstone. Chris is a member of the Tripos Media Partnership and his work has been published in motorsport magazines as well as event programmes. Richard has been coaching racing car drivers for over 24 years coupled with a successful racing career in almost every form of racing, from Formula Ford to world sports car prototypes and GT cars. Caterham champions for nearly two decades have been coached by Richard, from Simon Harris in 1996 to Paul Wilson in 2012 as well as multiple race winners in between and since. He has also coached champions in many other series including Kelly Smith in MG Midgets, Mick Mercer driving a Marcos in Britcar GT and Andrew Beaumont, driving a Mosler in Britcar GT and 2012 Masters Formula One Champion. Richard lives in Berkshire with his wife and children.
